Watch So You Think You Can Dance!

In general, watch it, but especially watch it tonight. I’m in the audience. In the seats, center/stage right, about halfway back. And let me tell you, somewhere around 98% of the dances are fantastic, and the other 2% are still pretty good.

    NO WAY!!! you are SO lucky! was it as much fun to be there. could you see. is cat deeley really that pretty and sweet. SO NOT FAIR!!!!!

    Yeah, you could see great. Not their faces as much as on TV, obviously, but they were piping the camera feed to the big screen above the stage, which helped (and then I watched it again last night, of course). And yes, Cat is the bestest ever. I'll write a longer post about what it was like to be at the taping later. Right now I'm still forced into using the library's internet, and they close in a little while.

    Wow! I might have even tuned for that. But since I am reading this on Thursday morning, I think I have missed it. Was the show taped in advance, or do they do these live?

    They tape on Mondays, then it airs on Wednesdays. The results show on Thursday is done live, I think. It's good they don't do the competition show live; they had to keep stopping and restarting to get stuff right! Although not as much as they might've, honestly. The host and judges are really great at it.

    And don't worry about having missed it; you couldn't see me and my friend in the audience anyway. But the dancing was great!

    So, who is your fav girl and fav guy? I can't believe that I regularly watch this show, but it is very entertaining. BUT my favorite show right now? American Gladiator!! I can't watch it without jumping off the couch a time or two;)

    I can't choose fav guys between Twitch and Will; they're both amazing, and should dance with their shirts off all the time. I'm sorry, did I just say that? ;) Girls, I'm less sure. I don't really dislike any of them; I liked Kherington a lot, but I also like Chelsea and Katee - I think Katee's the best, if that's relevant.

    I haven't watched American Gladiator! Maybe I should tune in?

    I am not sure you would share my enthusiastic view of American Gladiators, especially because it is the semi finals and you would have missed all the stories up until this point. But yeah, it inspires me to work out harder than I usually do...

    bummer about the last dancer to go off (boy...not sure if you are up to date;)

    I like Twitch and Courtney...really I like them all...not the same as American Idol where you don't like certain people...I just enjoy watching them all dance...it makes me want to dance...hmmm...seeing a pattern here...AI makes me want to sing, Food Network makes me want to cook, Biggest loser makes me want to diet...I really am improving myself by watching TV!!

    btw...went to the Muny last night and thought..."So you think you can dance??" My standards, and John's, have definitely been raised...
