Nevin loves, LOVES Young Indiana Jones--which he discovered at the library And it can be educational. I discovered that Catherine Zeta Jones had one of her earliest gigs on one of those episodes.

I watched several of the episodes when I was younger and always enjoyed them. They're all on DVD now, I think, so I should seek them out. Have you taken your kids to see the new one, or are you going to?

Wasn't planning on it. I haven't taken them to see Prince Caspian and that was a higher priority.

Did you ever get around to watching Kwaidan? I suppose I could troll through your reviews, but also I could bait you into a response. Much more satisfying, that.

I did, but I haven't posted about it yet. I'm still in internet access limbo - the people I'm staying with have internet, but I can't connect my computer to it. Bah. Anyway, re: Kwaidan. I'll need a rewatch, since it didn't immediately turn me onto Japanese cinema, or even itself, on first viewing. In its defense, however, I watched it while under packing and moving stress, so I'm not faulting it for my inability to love it. Of the stories, the one with the blind monk was my favorite, I think.
