There is a bit of a resemblance, especially in the high register--I think Glen Hansard is a little more "real". I like FFF all right, but Hansard's voice has that tiny bit of a rasp that just gets me. You'd really like the movie, too, I think, if you can find it playing somewhere, or rent the DVD when it comes out.

Cool music. I thought Glen Hansard sounded like the lead singer from Five For Fighting. He's not, I checked, but I figured out why I like his sound (I like FFF).

Thanks. That was one of the things I was supposed to check on preview and I got so wrapped up checking the Amazon links that I forgot.

Neither S2 nor S3 of Desperate Housewives were nearly as good as S1, but it's still a fun show. The finale last year introduced a lot of twists, too, so I wouldn't start in on S4 without catching up on S3. But that's just me.
