Ugh. Bon Jovi makes me want to apologize to my parents for what they had to hear second-hand while I was growing up. At least they haven't done a Quiet Riot theme...

I watched more tonight than I normally get the chance to. I think Jordan or Chris should go after tonight. My third choice for an exit is Phil. I LOVED Melinda. I thought Lakeisha did a really good job, and I thought Blake's original rendition of You Give Love a Bad Name was pretty cool. Hey, this was Bon Jovi night, and for me that means nostalgia. So I had more of an opinion that I might otherwise.

Gotta disagree--I loved Phil tonight, and I hope Chris and Lakisha are gone tomorrow! But I agree with you in that I hope Jordin wins. Melinda just is in another league, she's so amazing.

you guys are all crazy, i want lakisha and phil to go home! blake was awesome and i like chris so i don't want him to go home. and jordin was not as good as normal, but still really good...

Mark and Jennifer - I wondered if you two were fighting over the computer or something to post so close together. What is Quiet Riot? Some band I'm too young to know about? :p Jenn, Jordin? Tonight was probably her worst performance yet, but I think it pales in significance compared with her many outstanding ones... I suspect that Chris will go tomorrow, too. I like him, but he hasn't upped his game to match some of the other contestants.
Nicole - Well, I am getting so biased against Phil that I hardly hear him singing anymore. Bad I know, but there it is. He did do a good job on the country night, though, for sure. Tonight, though...just felt weak to me, and I mostly agreed with Simon. I'd be happy with either Jordin or Melinda winning--I lean toward Jordin only because I think Melinda's career will be just fine whether or not she wins, and Jordin, being inexperienced, could probably use the boost.

I totally agree with what Randy said (or was it Paula). It was the most creative effort (by Blake) that the show has ever had. It was a real surprise how well it worked. Blake in the final 3 just for having the guts to do this.
