Well, looks like America picked right for once, going for talent over...less talent. :) I do think Archuleta has talent, just not as much as Cook. I'm glad he won because it gives me hope that America isn't totally STOOPID all the time, but I do hope he holds out for doing what he wants to with his album.

Jennifer, thanks! I'm not sure David A.'s voice is powerful enough for Broadway, though he did do a pretty ripping job of "And I Am Telling You" when he was a kid.

RE: idol -- didn't watch last night or tonight, but I checked up on all the goings on via the web. I see Cook won. I agree with Debbie that David A. seemed to be too much of a Disney singer, but I also think he could have a future on Broadway. I guess time will tell.

We were wondering the same thing about Simon pushing Archelleta because he didn't want to curse Cook;) I am right with you on your thinking and over-thinking. I could care less if David A wins because I KNOW that Cook will be way more famous/longlasting/relevant than the 17 yr old Disney singer.
